MoM's GoNe WILD!

We decided is was time for a girls get-away. I had such a great time in Mesquite with Suzette, Bree & Heather. We went and played Bunco, it was a fundraiser for breast cancer. We laughed and laughed and really had a great time. Oh and don't forget we also went and had a massage! It was mom's gone wild!!!

Homecoming

It has been lots of fun watching Kinsey on the volleyball team. She has played well and the Freshman team is kicking butt! These are a few pictures of homecoming week. The top picture is the volleyball team doing their lip sync. Only a few games left and the volleyball season will be over.

Calf Creek Falls

We celebrated Labor Day with a hike to Calf Creek Falls. I have never even heard of this National Park located down by Escalante, but sure am glad that we went. It is a 2 1/2 mile hike into the waterfall. It is like a little oasis back in the canyon and is absolutely gorgeous. The water was freezing cold, but that didn't stop the kids from playing in it. Besides the fact that we ran out of water and CG hurried back to the truck to get more, blisters on our feet and minimal whining from all these girls it was a great trip!

I love my family!

A few weekends ago was the annual Malmgren family campout. The weather was perfect. We enjoyed each others company, and missed those who were unable to attend. It was the last big campout of the summer.

Another school year has begun

I cant believe that Kinsey is in High School and Chantri is in Middle School this year. It seems like not long ago I walked them into their first day of kindergarten. I sure do wish that time would slow down a little! Also notice that Kinsey finally got her braces on just yesterday. Her teeth were hurting this morning.

New Puppy!

This is the latest addition to our family. Her name is Jerzi and we have all fell in love with her (yes even me)! She is 10 1/2 weeks old and she is so playful and loveable.

4-wheeling

Yesterday for my birthday we went for a 4-wheeler ride. We went to Kens cabin and up around Molly's Nipple. There was so much beautiful scenery. But it rained so hard on us and the lightning was a little eerie and the thunder cracked and rumbled so loud. We had to hurry home and now I want to go back on a good day. I am glad that CG grabbed a few rain jackets (don't be jealous of the slicker, I know it is sexy!) All in all it was a great day!!!

Seriously!?!?

NEVER in my wildest dream did I ever imagine that we would own pigs!!! Kinsey and Jaye have been saying that they want a baby pig for an FFA project for school this fall. C.G. surprised the girls with each their own baby pig for a graduation present, and decided that he couldn't leave Chantri out and so he also got her one. The pigs are only a few days old so they have to be bottle fed. I am still having major issues with the pigs, but the girls sure are having fun.

8th grade Graduation

The class of 2014

It has truly been an emotional week for me, I can't believe that Kinsey is going to high school next year. She had her 8th grade graduation and it is now official, she if a Freshman. I can't stand the thought of my kids all being grown up and moving on. I am so proud of all of my kids and the accomplishments they have each achieved. I am also proud of the people they are becoming.
